#1 - Share Your Knowledge
No matter how you’re reaching your audience - whether it’s email, social media, paid traffic, or free traffic - it’s crucial that you be generous with your knowledge.
If nobody knows how much you know, they'll never be interested in you or your business.
The best way to build value, trust, and credibility is by sharing as much knowledge as possible, both in-person and online.
Once people see that you know what you're talking about, they'll come to you when they need help.
This is one of the pillars of starting your own business or side hustle.
#2 - Say “Yes”
You can't be afraid to start working with clients.
If someone wants to work with you, and they seem like a good client, stop running every possible scenario through your mind.
Move forward and start gaining experience.
#3 - Always Provide Value
With that said, you need to be prepared to provide top-notch service to your clients if you want them to refer you to their friends and business partners.
In the early days of your business, focus on providing incredible service.
It may take time to build up your client base, but the more effort you put into helping each and every client, the more they will refer you to friends and family. You’ll also start getting plenty of repeat business.
#4 - Take Advantage of Cheap Traffic
Want to hear something crazy?
There are so many different markets where you can find cheap clicks. Other countries and smaller markets can work wonders. If you know another language, marketing in that language can be a huge advantage.
Because so many marketers are ignoring these markets, you can get a lot of clients at a very low rate.
#5 - Narrow Down Your Niche
You can't be everything to everyone.
A common problem with newer business owners is that they try to provide every service under the sun.
Instead, know what you're good at and offer that.
Don’t worry that your business niche is too specific. Often, the more specific your niche, the better your product meets the needs of your audience!
#6 - Find High-Priced Clients
If you're competing at lower price ranges, you're going to lose.
People are willing to pay good money to people who know what they're doing. So don't be afraid to go after the clients with bigger budgets.
That’s especially true if you’re providing A LOT of value like we described earlier.
Brand yourself as a premium service provider and go after bigger clients.
#7 - Raise Prices Accordingly
If you never get any objections to your price, you're undercharging.
Every time you sign a client, raise your prices.
You'll know that the market can no longer bear your rates once several people start turning you down because of your price.
